Citique

CiTIQUE is an innovative participatory science program that engages citizens in the research of ticks and the diseases they transmit. Spearheaded by passionate scientists, CiTIQUE invites community members to play an active role in advancing scientific knowledge from observation to data interpretation. The initiative features various opportunities for involvement, including the use of the Signalement Tique app—available on both Android and iOS—enabling users to report tick bites in humans and animals, aiding in data collection for scientific studies.

Additionally, CiTIQUE provides collection kits in specific metropolitan areas, facilitating the submission of tick samples to researchers. For those eager to deepen their involvement, the Laboratoire Tous Chercheurs offers hands-on experiences where participants work alongside scientists in research labs. Fueled by a dedicated network of volunteers, CiTIQUE aims to cultivate a shared scientific culture, benefiting both society and those affected by tick-borne illnesses. Join the movement and help uncover essential insights into ticks and their impact!
