**Brand Description: Civil Society Energy for Resilient Ukraine**
“Civil Society Energy for Resilient Ukraine” is an innovative two-year project aimed at fostering the development of renewable energy communities across Ukraine. Jointly led by wechange eG cooperative from Berlin and Synergy Sustainable Development Agency from Vinnytsia, and supported by the German Federal Foreign Office, this initiative empowers citizens to engage in sustainable energy practices.
The project focuses on creating energy communities—collectives that manage and invest in renewable energy projects together, promoting energy independence and cost reduction. Activities include the “Re-energise Ukraine” Case Study Challenge, where diverse stakeholders, including students and entrepreneurs, collaborate on solutions for renewable energy use.
Additionally, the project offers mentoring programs, expert-led focus group studies, and public dialogues to assess the landscape for energy communities in Ukraine. By facilitating knowledge sharing and fostering community ties between Ukrainian and European energy sectors, the initiative paves the way for a greener, more resilient future in renewable energy.
