The Citizen OS Foundation is a civic tech non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to participate in respectful and meaningful discussions. With headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia, and an additional office in Jakarta, Indonesia, our team collaborates with partners worldwide. Our mission is to create a society where every voice matters and collective decisions are shaped by the collective will of the people.

We achieve this through two primary initiatives. First, we provide a secure and open-source collaborative decision-making platform for civic initiatives. This online platform enables deliberative discussions, collaborative decision-making, and voting, even when participants cannot be physically present.

Second, we run participatory e-democracy projects, serving as the driving force behind our commitment to citizens' active involvement in decision-making processes. In Estonia, our platform is even used for digitally signing documents, such as people's initiatives and NGO general meetings, which are recognized by all levels of government. At the Citizen OS Foundation, we strive to bring decision-making back to the people and their communities.
