**CityDoctors Scholarship**
CityDoctors Scholarship is a transformative program partnered with St. George’s University School of Medicine and NYC Health + Hospitals, dedicated to fostering future healthcare leaders in New York City. The initiative aims to alleviate the pressing physician shortage, particularly in urban areas, by providing both full and partial tuition scholarships to US citizens and permanent residents committed to primary care medicine.
This scholarship program specifically targets eligible incoming students who have deep ties to New York City, including those who have lived in the five boroughs for over five years or who have graduated from NYC high schools. With an emphasis on community service and urban healthcare, the scholarships not only support educational aspirations but also encourage graduates to serve in their local communities.
Potential applicants can find more information about eligibility and the application process, which includes submitting an essay highlighting their professional goals and commitment to serving in NYC, on the program’s official website. Join the mission to give back to the communities that have shaped you through the CityDoctors Scholarship.
