The City of Adelaide is the world's oldest surviving composite clipper ship, constructed in 1864. This historic vessel is now preserved and showcased by the Clipper Ship City of Adelaide Ltd (CSCOAL) in Port Adelaide's inner harbor. CSCOAL is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization committed to preserving the ship and creating a seaport village around it.

Visitors can explore the ship and its fascinating history through daily tours, available from 10am to 3pm. The ship can also be booked for large club groups, and there is no charge to visit the model ship gallery at the Info Centre. Please note that there are stairs into the ship.

The Clipper Ship City of Adelaide has a rich heritage and played a vital role in carrying passengers to Adelaide, South Australia. It made 23 return voyages from England and was among the fastest clippers on the London-Adelaide route. Today, an estimated 250,000 Australians can trace their ancestry back to this remarkable ship.
