City of Refuge Calhoun is a faith-based organization serving individuals and families in crisis in Calhoun and Gordon County, Georgia. Its mission is to bring light, hope, and transformation to the community by connecting people with resources that support lasting change rather than temporary relief. The organization works alongside local churches, individuals, and businesses, drawing on a proven model developed by its founding organization, City of Refuge Atlanta.

Its programs include Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered approach to addressing addiction and other personal struggles through meals, worship, and large and small groups. The organization also offers Sunday worship services, children’s ministry, Sunday school, and youth group activities. For people whose needs exceed local resources, City of Refuge Calhoun can connect them with support at the Atlanta campus, including case management, recovery, housing, job skills training, medical and dental care, mental health services, and education. The organization focuses on challenges such as homelessness, addiction, trafficking, unemployment, and housing instability, and invites community members to volunteer, partner, share its work, or donate.
