The City of Webster Police Department, located in Texas, is proud to serve and protect the community of Webster. With a rich history dating back to its founding in 1879, Webster has grown into a vibrant city with a strong commercial presence, boasting over 2,200 businesses. Initially established as a colony for English immigrants, the area flourished with the expansion of the railroad and the growth of the farming industry, including rice farming pioneered by Japanese immigrants.

Webster's trajectory changed when NASA chose the city as the site for the Johnson Space Center in 1961, leading to significant growth and opportunities in the aerospace sector. This, combined with Webster's status as a medical center, with world-class facilities such as Clear Lake Regional Medical Center and the University of Texas Medical Branch - Clear Lake, has made Webster a thriving hub for both aerospace and medical industries. The City of Webster Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents, working tirelessly to maintain peace and order.

With a dedicated team of officers and innovative law enforcement strategies, the department is focused on serving the community with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. Whether it's responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, or engaging in community outreach programs, the City of Webster Police Department is dedicated to keeping Webster a safe and welcoming place for all
