About Center for Civic Ed.
We the People — Center for Civic Education is dedicated to fostering civic understanding and engagement among students across the United States. Offering a comprehensive curriculum, We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution serves elementary, middle, and high school learners by exploring the history and principles underlying constitutional democracy. The program culminates in interactive simulated congressional hearings, allowing students to present their knowledge before judges mirroring Congress members.
The Center organizes various state competitions and hosts the prestigious We the People National Finals in Washington, D. C., alongside a virtual National Invitational. Their curriculum is segmented into various levels, catering to different age groups, from the foundational concepts in Level 1 for upper elementary students to advanced studies in Level 3 for high schoolers.
