Civic Space Network - Africa (CSNA) is a dynamic coalition of civil society organizations and individuals committed to fostering and safeguarding civic spaces across the continent. By advocating for the protection of fundamental rights such as freedom of association, assembly, and expression, CSNA seeks to create an enabling environment that empowers communities to address societal challenges effectively and peacefully. The organization offers a range of services, including capacity development through workshops and training, networking opportunities, and extensive research and analysis of civic space trends.

Additionally, CSNA provides legal and regulatory assistance, digital support, and a resource hub that collects best practices and case studies to aid civil society actors. Their mission emphasizes public awareness and engagement, aiming to elevate the importance of a vibrant civic space in social and political processes. Through grant-making initiatives, CSNA mobilizes resources to support civil society efforts, ensuring that grassroots movements have the necessary backing to drive meaningful change across Africa.
