About Civil Air Support
Civil Air Support is a UK registered charity consisting of pilots, observers, and supporters organized to provide non-statutory air support to agencies and individuals. The organization, in existence since 2000, has evolved from simple observation and reporting roles to now offering a wide range of capabilities for humanitarian relief and environmental protection. The core membership of private pilots and non-pilot supporters work together to employ the unique capabilities of light aircraft to benefit the wider community.
Their mission is to provide occasional air support or assistance that results in humanitarian relief or safeguards the environment, working with individuals and Category 1 Statutory Services. Civil Air Support values the combination of aviation-related and other skills to contribute to the relief and improvement of communities. They offer their services free of charge and can be engaged via telephone, email, or by completing a contact form.
