Central Jersey Community Center

Central Jersey Community Center (CJCC) is a community organization based at 80 Cottontail Lane in Somerset, New Jersey. Its mission is to deepen understanding of American and Turkish cultures and foster integrity through cultural and educational initiatives, while helping people integrate into local communities. CJCC offers programs designed to support children’s learning, creativity, and well-being.

Its RISE before- and after-school care provides more than homework support, giving children opportunities to pursue interests through games, projects, creative arts, and play. The center also runs a Homework Club, where tutors help students understand school topics and practice new skills, often alongside a buddy to encourage collaboration. Advanced Math classes provide additional help for students working at higher levels.

CJCC’s activities extend beyond education: its listed events include fundraising gatherings, an Eid parade, cooking-related programming, and community service such as food deliveries to senior communities, police, and hospitals, as well as donations of disinfectant wipes. Through these offerings, CJCC brings families and neighbors together around learning, culture, and service
