Christina King Landscape Design

Christina King is a Raleigh, North Carolina landscape design practice creating native-first gardens for homes across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the North Carolina Piedmont. Guided by the character of each site, the work aims to help gardens feel at home in their surroundings and mature naturally over time. Christina’s approach emphasizes listening to the land, choosing plants suited to local conditions, and leaving space for people to enjoy the outdoors.

Services include landscape design and installation, native planting, water management, and ongoing garden maintenance throughout the seasons. Projects bring together hardscaping and vibrant plantings to create welcoming transitions, places to relax, and opportunities for everyday connection with nature. Christina also helps address practical site challenges, including drainage concerns and planting areas affected by shade or other difficult conditions.

Clients describe the work as creative, responsive, knowledgeable, and carefully executed, from planning through installation. Christina King takes on a limited number of projects at a time, allowing for attentive collaboration and thoughtful garden solutions tailored to each place and budget.
