Clack Fest

The Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival, also known as Clack Fest, is an annual river festival held on the Clackamas River near Estacada, Oregon. In 2026, it celebrates its 40th year, continuing a long-running tradition among the nation’s whitewater events. The festival brings paddlers, spectators, and the wider community together for a weekend of activities on the water, with opportunities for kayakers, rafters, paddle boarders, and packrafters to participate or watch.

Clack Fest organizes race events and publishes schedules and rules, and features clinics, entertainment, gear demonstrations, and vendor activities. Its website provides event registration, information for food and gear vendors, volunteer opportunities, and guidance on camping, lodging, directions, and festival policies. Visitors can also find past results, photos, videos, and details about merchandise, raffles, and a silent auction. The organizers aim to make the gathering welcoming to everyone while helping preserve the festival for future generations of paddlers. The event operates under a special use permit issued by the Mt. Hood National Forest, USDA Forest Service.
