About Clarecare
Clarecare is a renowned community/voluntary organization that has been serving County Clare and the surrounding areas since 1968. At Clarecare, our primary objective is to improve the lives of individuals and families in our community. With a wide range of support services, we strive to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Our Family Support Service offers individual and group support for parents, as well as individual support for children and adolescents. We understand the importance of a strong support system, which is why our Home Support Service provides dedicated home support staff who deliver personalized care throughout the county. With offices in Ennistymon, Killaloe, Kilrush, Shannon, and Ennis, our Home Support Service is deeply connected to the local community.
We also recognize the need for addiction treatment services, which is why our Bushypark Addiction Treatment Service offers holistic therapy for alcohol, drug, and gambling addiction. Our Social Work Service for Older Persons is an integral part of our organization, providing free, community-based social work support for individuals aged 65 and over in Co. Clare.
In addition, Clarecare operates three Day Care Centers in Killaloe, Ennis, and Ennistymon, where older people can enjoy nutritious meals and engaging activities. Our Thrift Shops not only offer affordable new and lightly worn items but also serve as a vital income source for Clarecare, allowing us to reinvest directly into delivering services across the county. At Clarecare, we are proud of our impact on the community.
We have provided countless hours of home support and have assisted numerous families through our Family Support Services. Our Day Care Service has served hot meals to many individuals, and our Bushypark Addiction Treatment Service has helped participants access community-based services.
