Clarke Art is an art advisory firm focused on contemporary art created by Black artists. It promotes the appreciation, exploration, and understanding of African American contemporary art while helping clients engage with and build meaningful art collections. The firm is also committed to preserving the legacy of American artist James E. Clarke III and fostering a community of art enthusiasts who value the work of African American artists.

Clarke Art offers certified appraisals to help clients understand artwork values for purposes such as sales, insurance, taxes, and equity distribution. Its acquisition services include customized plans for finding individual works or developing collections in line with a client’s vision and budget. The firm also designs and curates exhibitions for corporations, art institutions, nonprofit organizations, and individuals, using existing collections or loaned works. For artists, Clarke Art provides advising on sales, business practices, and presenting their work as an investment. Its projects include exhibitions featuring African American artists and, in some cases, artists from other communities.
