Classic Clay

Classic Clay® is an Australian-invented and developed tennis surface designed to deliver the look, feel and playing characteristics of natural clay with less maintenance. Described as the original and leading waterless artificial clay court, it is a patented surface rated “1 – Slow” by the International Tennis Federation. The ITF classifies it as an alternative to natural grass, natural clay, synthetic grass and hard courts.

The cushioned surface is designed to let players slide and provides clay-like ball response and visible ball marks. Unlike traditional clay, it requires no watering or rolling, has very low maintenance needs and avoids annual reconstruction. Courts can also remain playable in light rain and soon after heavy downpours, according to the company.
