About Anne Rouillé
Clay Makers Academy is an online ceramics school founded by Anne Rouillé, a ceramic artist who has practised since 2016 and previously ran the oTerreFeu studio in Orléans. Drawing on her training and experience supporting more than 1,500 people in her workshop, Anne teaches pottery remotely through clear, progressive learning designed to help students build skills and confidence.
The academy primarily supports women who want to learn ceramics seriously, whether for personal development, professional retraining or to grow an existing pottery business. Its programmes include Liberté Céramique, focused on developing a ceramics activity, Maîtriser la céramique for learners seeking professional-level skills without making it a career, and Business support for ceramicists who want to improve customer acquisition and profitability. Students can also join a free online community.
Clay Makers Academy provides tutorials and resources on pottery techniques, decoration, glazing, equipment and studio setup, alongside business guidance, downloadable materials, a blog and member support.
