Suitable for residential, industrial, and commercial projects, please note that clay terracotta pavers require additional maintenance and sealing, as they are not frost resistant. Handcrafted exclusively for Clay Imports in Saltillo, Mexico, these pavers are made by packing natural clay into wooden molds of various shapes and sizes. After drying in the sun, the tiles are fired for over 24 hours in wood-burning kilns.
Clay Imports' pavers are available in two thicknesses: 2 thick pavers and 3/4 thin pavers. Thick pavers can be installed directly on landscape sand or gravel, while thin pavers can be installed using thin-set on top of a subsurface like HardieBacker or concrete. With size options including 4x8, 6x12, and 12x12, you can choose the perfect fit for your project.
When installing, it's important to inspect the materials and blend them prior to installation for the best results. Sealing and grouting options are available for different installation scenarios, whether indoors or outdoors. Miracle Seal 511 Impregnator Sealer and Miracle Seal 511 Porous Plus are recommended sealers for maintaining the natural look or achieving a rich, saturated look.
