Clay Target

The Australian Clay Target Association (ACTA) administers, promotes and develops clay target shooting across Australia. The sport welcomes people seeking recreational activities at local gun clubs as well as competitors taking part in registered club, regional, state, national and international events. Its disciplines include Trap, Skeet, ISSF and Sporting Clays, each offering a different style of target shooting.

ACTA provides information and resources for members, clubs and people interested in getting involved. These include membership guidance, a national club directory, event calendars and competition results, along with registration forms and member resources. The association also supports the sport through coaching information and accreditation materials, referee guidance, shooting rules, insurance documents and volunteer resources.

Its website features Hall of Fame records, historical archives, photographs and videos, and the Clay Target Shooting News magazine, which covers association updates, events and results. ACTA events and information span local competitions through to world championships and competitions associated with the Commonwealth and Olympic Games
