Center for Learning and Childhood Development-Ghana is a dedicated, research-based non-governmental organization focused on early child development and learning in Ghana. Our mission is to improve children's survival and development through research, advocacy, practice, and capacity building. We prioritize the urban poor and rural residents, as they are most vulnerable to poor early child development outcomes. Our program areas include maternal, neonatal, and child health, developmental delays and disorders, early childhood education, and basic education.

CLCD-Ghana was established by two high school friends with a shared passion for helping children thrive. With backgrounds in health, education, and research, they have combined their expertise to make a difference. One friend focuses on finding innovative teaching methods for children with different learning problems, while the other addresses the issue of high neonatal mortality rates in Ghana. Through research and collaboration, we strive to ensure every child survives, thrives, and succeeds in their learning journey.
