Cheyenne Laramie County Public Health

Cheyenne Laramie County Public Health serves residents throughout Laramie County, Wyoming, with a mission to protect, promote, and enhance community health. Its programs combine clinical and family support with disease prevention, health education, and environmental oversight. Public Health Nursing offers services including adult health, family planning, immunizations, childbirth classes, certified lactation counseling, maternal and child health support, and assistance for families of children with special health care needs. The department also provides WIC services, communicable disease resources, FIT kits for colon cancer screening, summer sports physicals, and Ryan White case management.

Its Environmental Health programs address the relationship between people and their surroundings, supporting community health, safety, and well-being. Services include drinking water guidance, well and septic inspections, swimming pool oversight, restaurant and school programs, and information on pests and West Nile virus.
