Clean Ocean Force (COF) is a non-profit organization based in Sri Lanka, dedicated to eliminating plastic, manmade pollutants, and debris from the beaches of Sri Lanka. As an island country in the Indian Ocean, the marine ecosystem and the beaches are vital for the country's socio-economic well-being. COF's unique approach involves partnering with local communities, utilizing both volunteers and a task force to combat the plastic pollution problem. By involving local leaders and waste pickers from marginalized communities, COF not only focuses on beach cleanliness but also creates employment opportunities for disadvantaged citizens.

The organization holds a non-profit foundation license and operates under the guidance of the Registrar General of Companies of Sri Lanka. COF was founded by Thorsten Knekties and Jerome Fernando, who were inspired to take action after witnessing the pollution on Sri Lankan beaches during their vacation.
