About Clean Marine Group
Clean Marine Group is a pioneering environmental service provider based in Freeport, Grand Bahama, recognized as the first to offer a full MARPOL Port Reception Facility in the Caribbean. The facility, equipped to process up to 120,000 tons of oily waste annually, plays a crucial role in ensuring that ships can effectively comply with maritime pollution prevention regulations set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Clean Marine Group collects a variety of liquid waste, including black water, grey water, ballast water, and oily sludges, serving vessels of all sizes throughout the Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
Our advanced Hydrocarbon Recovery Plant operates with stringent environmental standards, recycling 97% of recovered oil and treating 100% of wastewater for reuse. As we expand our services, with Phase 2 construction beginning in 2024, we aim to enhance our facilities further to accommodate larger vessels and support sustainable fuel practices.
