About Clean Ocean Project Ghana
Clean Ocean Project Ghana is a youth-led organization dedicated to preserving our oceans. Committed to environmental sustainability, we aim to create a vibrant and sustainable coastal ecosystem in Ghana. Our initiatives include advocating for conscious environmental practices, public education, and other climate action projects.
In the short term, we focus on identifying the root causes of littering, engaging with stakeholders, and developing strategies to combat marine pollution. Our long-term objectives include distributing waste bins on beaches, integrating clean ocean practices across coastal areas, and creating a regional action plan to reduce marine litter by 2025.
Through sensitization campaigns, concrete prevention measures, and media outreach, we work towards waste minimization, pollution reduction, and improving overall quality of life.
