About Clean the World
Clean the World is a social enterprise dedicated to the mission of saving millions of lives around the world while simultaneously diverting hotel waste. Their foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities by providing access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Through their recycling program, Clean the World collects soap bars and plastic amenity bottles from hotels and recycles them to manufacture new soap bars, which are distributed to global NGOs for communities vulnerable to hygiene-related illnesses.
By recycling these hygiene products, Clean the World saves lives and reduces waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. In addition to their recycling efforts, Clean the World offers Fresh Start WASH & Wellness programs, which provide services such as showers, mental health counseling, identification, and housing to individuals in need.
