About Centre Haïtien du Leadership et de L’Excellence
CLE Haiti, officially known as the Centre Haitien du Leadership et de l’Excellence, was founded in 2011 in response to the urgent need for effective leadership in Haiti following the devastating 2010 earthquake. This non-profit organization is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders who can address the country’s complex development challenges and seize its opportunities. CLE Haiti promotes innovative leadership models grounded in Haitian successes, emphasizing principles of active citizenship, self-reliance, collaboration, and transparency.
Through various programs—including initiatives focused on youth, women, and community involvement—CLE strives to empower and connect leaders across diverse sectors and regions. Its mission is to redefine leadership in Haiti, encouraging a collective approach to nation-building that fosters prosperity and equity. By supporting emerging leaders and advocating for systemic change, CLE Haiti aims to transform the landscape of governance and community engagement, ultimately establishing a more resilient, well-governed, and equitable society for all Haitians
