About Cleos Studios
Cleos Studios LLC is a prominent indie animation studio based in New York City. Led by Chevez J Sanchez, our Latino-founded studio specializes in character-led 2D Cell Animation and offers top-notch Motion Graphics services. We are particularly dedicated to creating captivating animation for the wellness industry, as well as producing original short films and narrative works.
Our talented and tight-knit team of animators has a remarkable track record. They have successfully completed various projects, including Pilots, Music Videos, and Commercial Advertisements. At Cleos Studios, we are committed to bringing new and refreshing stories to life from unheard perspectives.
Our first short film, Train of Thought, exemplifies this commitment. We derive our name, Cleos, from the Latin word Cleo and the Greek word Kleos, which respectively connote personal glory and the hero's journey. This reflects our mission to help our animators achieve their personal treasures and reach the pinnacle of their creative interests.
We aspire to be more than just an animation studio; we aim to foster a community of disenfranchised artists in the heart of New York City. Our vision is to inspire and excite audiences with quality art while upholding our values of Creativity, Ingenuity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Patience. Chevez Jedai Sanchez, as our President, oversees all projects, ensuring meticulous craftsmanship and authentic storytelling.
With a profound passion for animation, Chevez incorporates his Puerto Rican heritage and the shared experiences of our diverse studio into our original productions. Cleos Studios is driven by the belief that animation is a powerful storytelling medium. As Chevez eloquently puts it, Animation is storytelling within every 24th of a second.
