Behind Cleverlayover is a team of passionate individuals who strive to make travel more affordable. Phil Hu, our Co-founder, brings nine years of research experience and a background in consulting to the table. Meanwhile, John McGugan, our other Co-founder, has a wealth of experience in competing against big data and successfully running companies.

Our story began when we discovered that booking multiple flights was often cheaper than a single direct ticket. With the money we saved, we explored Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, which inspired us to create Cleverlayover. After winning a competition at Harvard Business School, we continued to build our brand into a sustainable business, touching the lives of thousands every day.
