About Climate Futures
My Climate Risk is an innovative brand that has recently become a regional hub under the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP). Working alongside seven other hubs, they are part of the WCRP initiative, aiming to form a network that focuses on climate risk. As a regional hub, Climate Futures, based mainly in Norway, shares knowledge, experiences, and resources to contribute towards the goals of My Climate Risk.
They adopt a "bottom-up" approach to regional climate risk, ensuring that climate information is tailored and meaningful at the local scale. Their goal is to develop a flexible and applicable framework that supports the creation of climate services. By combining hazard, vulnerability, and exposure specific to each regional context, My Climate Risk aims to provide valuable and insightful climate information.
