The Climate Reality Project is a non-profit organization founded by Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore in 2006. It aims to address the urgent issue of climate change by empowering a global cultural movement demanding immediate action. With 11 branches worldwide, The Climate Reality Project works independently in their regions yet collaboratively to drive real climate solutions.

In the Philippines, the project launched a reimagined approach in 2020, placing Pinoy Climate Reality Leaders and their initiatives at the forefront of its action plan. The Philippine Branch works closely with government and civil society partners to provide opportunities for these leaders to share their stories and promote climate initiatives. They also contribute crucial insights to the development and implementation of the country's climate change policies.

The Climate Reality Project Philippines, hosted by the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC), is committed to promoting fair climate policy and low carbon, climate-resilient development. Through education, communication strategies, and capacity development services, the project aims to empower its diverse community of over 1,800 Pinoy Climate Reality Leaders to advocate for renewable energy and sustainable urban mobility, fostering genuine and lasting climate resilience in the country
