About HERA
Climate Resilience for All is a gender-focused climate adaptation nonprofit that is dedicated to protecting people and livelihoods from the impacts of extreme heat. Our mission is to deliver tangible results and build trusted partnerships that help people now, while also spurring systemic change for a climate-resilient future for all.
Our team consists of passionate individuals who have extensive experience in climate, conservation, development, communications, and business strategies. We are united by our commitment to making a difference in the face of climate change.
Our board comprises diverse experts from around the world, with decades of proven success in climate policy, finance, and communications. They bring valuable insights and expertise to guide our organization's initiatives.
As a nonprofit, our fiscal sponsor is the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) NPC, based in Cape Town, South Africa. GRP has secured agreements with governments, private sector entities, multilaterals, and philanthropic organizations, amounting to nearly $80 million.
