About Climate Signals
Climate Signals is a nonpartisan project of Climate Nexus that offers real-time resources and curated climate change attribution science. The team focuses on explaining the causes, extent, and immediacy of climate change hazards, with a particular emphasis on extreme weather events and other climate change impacts in the United States. They track climate change impact stories in the news and provide essential resources for diverse audiences, including media, policy makers, teachers, and advocates.
Supported by Climate Nexus, an organization dedicated to changing the conversation on climate change and clean energy, Climate Signals is a project with a strong foundation. Originally launched in 2010 and redesigned in 2016, the project is now led by Rose Andreatta, a climate change impacts expert, and Terran Kirksey, the climate science communications manager. Their mission is to provide accurate and timely information on climate change and its impacts.
