CLIMBERS（クライマーズ） is a dynamic and multifaceted media project that revolves around the theme of climbing and bouldering. With a mission to make the climbing life more enjoyable, CLIMBERS offers a variety of engaging content through a free magazine, web articles, social media channels, and exciting events. The brand caters to climbers of all levels, from top athletes competing in national and international competitions to beginners and adventure seekers exploring natural rock formations.

CLIMBERS supports and encourages everyone involved in the climbing community. Their free magazine focuses on the sports climbing scene, showcasing the allure and appeal of the sport, particularly to entry-level climbers and those who are curious about starting their climbing journey. Released quarterly, the magazine has a nationwide circulation of 60,000 copies and is available in approximately 600 climbing gyms across Japan.

Accompanying their print publication, CLIMBERS also operates a web platform and social media channels that provide timely news, competition reports, and other up-to-date information that complements the content of their magazine. In addition, CLIMBERS hosts events where climbing enthusiasts can enjoy firsthand lessons from esteemed guest climbers. CLIMBERS is a joint project between Sony Music Entertainment and Sol Media, both esteemed companies in the media industry.

Sony Music Entertainment, as part of the Sony Group, is actively involved in collaborations with various sports fields in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Sol Media, established in 2006, specializes in sports-focused media, with expertise in magazine production, event planning and production, and digital content production.
