Climbers Corner

Climbers Corner was a rock climbing facility in Collingwood, serving the Georgian Bay Triangle and describing itself as the area’s only climbing gym. It introduced climbing as an active, family-friendly way to build fitness and invited visitors to climb with support from qualified staff. The facility’s offerings included climbing lessons and youth programs, as well as birthday parties and opportunities to plan a climb.

Its website also listed prices, rules and policies, a pro shop, and merchandise, alongside gift options and facility information. Climbers Corner aimed to welcome climbers of different ages and experience levels, while fostering a local community through events and connections with its “Friends of Climbers Corner. ” Visitors could access photos, contact details, and a waiver, and subscribe to a mailing list for updates.

The business has since permanently closed. Its message thanks everyone who visited and helped make the climbing community special, marking the end of its operations while recognizing the people who supported the facility
