Climb Nova Scotia (CNS) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to promoting and facilitating climbing across Nova Scotia. It supports climbers at every experience level, from beginners to seasoned participants, and welcomes a broad range of interests, including traditional, sport, ice and indoor climbing, as well as bouldering. Through membership, CNS helps connect people with the province’s climbing community and provides information and resources relevant to climbing activities.
Its work includes outdoor access and development, landowner and climber liability information, and access notices. CNS also supports competition climbing, with season information, results, policies and procedures, and details related to the 2027 Canada Games. Events such as Boulderfest offer opportunities for climbers to take part in community activities.
The organization shares news, governance resources and information about its team, and provides links to accessibility-related resources. Climb Nova Scotia recognizes that climbing takes place on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People and acknowledges the Treaties of Peace and Friendship
