Clínica Mies is a healthcare clinic in Santander whose activity in voluntary pregnancy termination has ceased after the Cantabrian health administration assumed responsibility for providing the service. Its website now informs women in Cantabria about access to specialist care through Clínica Euskalduna in Bilbao, presented as the nearest accredited alternative. Euskalduna is accredited by the Basque Government to provide abortion care and has a multidisciplinary specialist team and modern facilities in central Bilbao. The site highlights road and bus connections, as well as public parking opposite the building, for patients travelling from Cantabria.

It explains that Spanish law provides for access to abortion care through an accredited centre when the regional health service cannot offer the procedure locally or within an appropriate timeframe. In exceptional cases, eligible patients may seek reimbursement from the Cantabrian Health Service for care and travel expenses, subject to applicable procedures. The website also offers a contact form and phone number for information, appointment requests, and confidential, personalized assistance.
