Clitheroe Golf Club is an established golf club in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, welcoming members, individual visitors, societies and visiting parties. Founded in 1891, it offers a classic parkland course designed by James Braid, with views of the surrounding countryside. The club is a Championship Venue for England Golf and Lancashire Golf, and hosts visitor rounds, corporate golf days and open competitions, with a programme of events running from April to October.
Golf facilities include a covered, 10-bay driving range with a teaching bay, a swing room and a short-game practice area. The club’s Performance Golf Academy provides instructional programmes for players of different abilities, supported by experienced PGA coaches. Visitors can explore green fees and booking options, while members and guests can also make use of the Pro Shop and extensive parking.
The clubhouse features the Legends Bar, catering and hospitality, as well as rooms for functions, meetings and seminars overlooking the course.
