Central Lake Ontario Conservation (CLOCA) is a local, community-based environmental organization that is dedicated to managing and protecting watershed resources in Ontario. Established in 1958, CLOCA has jurisdiction over a vast area of over 639 square km, encompassing the watershed boundaries of 4 major watercourses and 18 minor watercourses. Their jurisdiction spans from the municipal boundaries of Ajax/Pickering to Clarington, and from Lake Ontario to the crest of the Oak Ridges Moraine.

CLOCA offers a wide range of science-based watershed management programs and services, which are delivered in collaboration with municipal partners, local landowners, environmental agencies, and all levels of government. Their services include planning and permits, facility reservations, conservation education programs, flood protection and prevention, source water protection, and invasive species management. As a non-profit agency and registered charity, CLOCA relies on the support and engagement of the community to fulfill their mission of advancing watershed health.
