Clos de Luz is a renowned family winery that boasts one of the oldest Carmenere vineyards in Chile and possibly even in the entire world. Planted by our beloved grandmother Luz in 1945, these vineyards hold immense pride and are now passionately nurtured by the next generation. We take immense pleasure in upholding the legacy of Clos de Luz winery, which was relaunched in 2015.

We are committed to exporting our exceptional wines to fifteen global markets and have gained a reputation for our unwavering quality and minimal intervention winemaking approach.

Our vineyards are truly extraordinary, with the Carmenere vines being the oldest in Chile. We employ the ancient and meticulous Massal method of reproduction, where only the finest vines are carefully selected and propagated through cuttings. Notably, none of our vines are grafted or cloned, highlighting our commitment to authenticity and superior quality.

At Clos de Luz, our manifesto is centered around crafting fresh and elegant wines with native yeasts fermentation, allowing the natural fruitiness to shine through. To further enhance the wine's character, we age our wines in French oak foudres, clay amphorae, and 50 hl oak barrels, minimizing the influence of wood.
