CloudCoin

CloudCoin is a digital currency developed by the CloudCoin Consortium, presenting itself as an alternative to blockchain-based cryptocurrencies. Its defining feature is that coins can be stored offline as PNG image files, without a conventional wallet, user account, public ledger, or mining. The brand says its patented RAIDA protocol verifies ownership through authentication rather than encryption and is designed to resist attacks from quantum computers.

CloudCoin supports transfers through its SkyVault software, as well as by sending coin files through messaging services such as email or Telegram. According to the company, these transactions are free and near-instant because only small amounts of data need to be transferred. The system is also described as energy-efficient, since it does not rely on mining or transaction verification on a public blockchain. CloudCoin promotes privacy, anonymous offline storage, and easy-to-use denominations. Its website offers information on how the currency works, software, purchasing options, developer resources, FAQs, support, and educational articles about cryptocurrency and security.
