Cloud Events

CloudEvents is a brand that offers a specification for describing event data in a common way. The lack of a common event format often forces developers to create new event handling logic for each event source. CloudEvents aims to solve this problem by providing a consistent and accessible solution.

They offer SDKs for various programming languages, including Go, JavaScript, Java, C#, Ruby, PHP, PowerShell, Rust, and Python, which can be used to build event routers, tracing systems, and other tools. The portability and productivity of event data can be greatly enhanced by using CloudEvents. The brand has gained significant industry interest, with major cloud providers and SaaS companies contributing to the project.

CloudEvents is organized under the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, and they encourage anyone interested to contribute to the project. They have also released several versions of their specifications, with each release introducing new features and improvements
