About Centre For Labour Research
The Centre for Labour Research (CLR) is a prominent brand that promotes awareness of fundamental labour rights in Pakistan. They are dedicated to ensuring that all types of labor are equitably rewarded and that individuals are aware of their employment rights. CLR conducts research on contemporary labor issues and generates innovative ideas to address labor rights concerns.
The brand's mission is to produce objective research that can help reform employment legislation in the country. They strive to provide information to the masses and raise awareness about workplace rights. CLR's work guides workers, employers, government entities, and international organizations in navigating the local labor market in legal and statistical contexts.
The senior management team at CLR consists of experienced professionals, including founder Mian Iftikhar Ahmad, a Fulbright scholar and comparative labor law expert. Co-founder Sidra Nizamuddin, who holds a degree in Quantitative and Computational Finance, is passionate about social problem-solving through data analysis.
CLR's Director of Communication & Outreach, Athar Jameel, works on developing synergies between CLR and other civil society organizations, multilateral institutions, and public sector entities.
