École de Karaté Shotokan Amiens (EKSA) is a traditional karate club bringing together children and adults in a friendly, welcoming environment. Established in 1992, the club teaches Shotokan karate and is affiliated with both the Shotokan Karate International Federation and the French Karate Federation. Its qualified instructors share their knowledge with care, offering guidance to practitioners of different ages and experience levels. Children can join from age six, and adults of all ages are welcome.
Classes take place at three venues: the Regional Dojo and Étouvie Gymnasium in Amiens, and the community hall in Hébécourt. The club offers up to four classes per week, with annual fees of €140 for children, students and seniors, and €160 for adults; the senior rate covers Thursday classes only. Prospective members can try two classes free after contacting the club. EKSA also shares information about karate events and stages, including sessions hosted with visiting instructors, and provides online registration.
