Club Mouche Loire Forez

Club Mouche Loire-Forez is a fly-fishing club based in Savigneux, near Montbrison, bringing together people who share an enthusiasm for the sport. Its members range from beginners to experienced competitors, and the club welcomes people of different ages and skill levels in a friendly, inclusive setting.

The club offers opportunities to learn and improve through its fly-fishing school, with theory sessions, practical instruction and outings on rivers. Approved instructors teach linear fly casting, from introductory skills to more advanced practice. On Tuesday evenings, members meet to tie flies, explore topics such as entomology and fishing techniques, and exchange advice.

Regular group outings introduce members to local rivers and reservoirs, while longer annual trips visit waters in regions including Lozère, Cantal and Ardèche. The club also supports competition: affiliated with the French Federation of Sport Fishing, it enables members to take part in national and international events as competitors or referees. Its website shares club news, event information, fishing resources, fly-tying guides, partner details and a calendar of activities.
