Club Amici del Mare

Club Amici del Mare A.S.D. is a nautical club founded on 31 January 1988 and based at Marina Dorica, Ancona’s tourist port. It manages sea and shore berths for members, accommodating boats from 5 to 20 metres in length. The club’s facilities include a secretary’s office and a terrace room overlooking the marina pontoons. Members can use the room during office hours to relax, read, watch television, access the internet or meet with fellow members. It also hosts meetings, conferences, courses, and cultural and sporting activities. A renovated dining room at the club’s Via Mattei premises is reserved for members and provides a venue for social gatherings and themed evenings.

The club organizes sailing, sport fishing, motorboating, trips and social events. Its annual sailing regatta, Amici in Vela, combines competition with convivial activities, while the Dorica Tuna Contest is a national offshore fishing competition that attracts crews from across Italy. The club also supports fishing teams and other sporting events.
