Club Astronomie du Limousin

The Club d’Astronomie du Limousin is an astronomy association based in Beyssac, Corrèze, France. Its purpose is to make astronomy and related sciences accessible to the public. The club welcomes people interested in exploring the sky through shared activities, educational resources and observation events.

Its programme includes astronomy training and public evenings, with opportunities to observe celestial objects and learn about the night sky. The association also shares news and articles on subjects such as the Perseverance rover on Mars, the star Betelgeuse and the Arecibo radio telescope. Members can access observation reports, photographs of deep-sky, planetary and solar objects, and practical resources including sky maps, weather information and free software.

The club promotes dark-sky protection and lists an observatory among its projects, alongside initiatives for young people. It announces local events, including public stargazing nights organised with community partners. People can learn about the association, its activities and membership through its website, or contact the club by email or telephone.
