About Clube Comary
Clube Comary is a non-profit members' association founded on July 6, 1968, by ten founding members in the Granja Comary locality, with its headquarters in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, spanning a total area of 45,000 square metres. The club's mission is to foster social cohesion among its members by offering recreational, cultural, sporting, artistic, and social activities, while promoting exchanges with similar organizations. In 1984, a secondary venue was established in Rio das Ostras, Rio de Janeiro, serving 300 contributing members with exclusive usage rights, while members of the main branch enjoy free access to both locations.
Governed by an elected board of directors serving three-year non-renewable terms, the club employs a team of over one hundred active staff members across its Teresópolis and Rio das Ostras facilities, and participates in social inclusion initiatives in partnership with ACAMP, a recognized municipal public utility organization
