Club Nautico Riccione

Club Nautico Riccione is a sailing club founded on January 14, 1933, and among Italy’s earliest nautical clubs. Based in Riccione, it has promoted sailing and maritime life for generations, staging sporting events and helping preserve local seafaring traditions. Affiliated with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV) since 1946, the club operates an authorized FIV sailing school and is also recognized as a CONI Sports Start-Up Center. Its principal activity is introducing young people, residents, and visitors to sailing through courses and activities led by qualified instructors, including free sea outings during selected open days.

The club also supports competitive sailing and cultural initiatives, including events, exhibitions, meetings, and conferences focused on maritime heritage. It manages the Saviolina on behalf of the Municipality of Riccione. Donated by the Savioli family in 1994, this traditional Romagnol lancione serves as the municipality’s official representative vessel and is described as the Adriatic’s legendary, oldest surviving example of its type. The club welcomes partners and the community to participate in its sporting and cultural programs.
