Club Tenco

Club Tenco is an Italian cultural organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating songwriters and the art of the Italian canzone d’autore. Based in Sanremo, it is known for the Premio Tenco, described by the organization as Italy’s most prestigious recognition for songwriter-led music, and for its annual Rassegna della Canzone d’Autore. The festival brings artists and music professionals together to share ideas, discuss music and build connections.

Club Tenco also presents the Targhe Tenco, which are awarded by a broad jury of journalists, while the Premio Tenco is assigned by the Club’s board. Its activities extend beyond these awards and the main festival. Il Tenco Ascolta is a live format that gives emerging talents an opportunity to be heard, and the organization has produced other musical events over the years.

Club Tenco also publishes records and books, maintains archives documenting its history and awards, and provides information about nominations, regulations, events and past honorees through its website
