Clydesdale ARC is a rowing club located at the West Boathouse on Glasgow Green in Scotland. With a rich history dating back to 1857, we are a thriving club with over 100 members of all ages and abilities. Our mission is to make the sport of rowing accessible and inclusive for everyone through our strong focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion.
We offer learn-to-row courses for both school-aged individuals and adults who are new to the sport. These courses introduce participants to the basics of rowing and provide them with the opportunity to learn a new skill and discover a potential new hobby. Once you have completed the course, you can join one of our squads.
Our squads cater to various age groups and ability levels, offering taster sessions to help you find the squad that suits you best. We also provide coaching and support to all our training squads, ensuring that both novice and experienced rowers can improve their skills and reach their full potential. At Clydesdale ARC, we believe in breaking down barriers and providing a warm and welcoming environment for all members.
We are committed to promoting physical and mental well-being through rowing. Join us and become part of our river community as we work towards positive social change and empower individuals through the sport we love. Contact us today to get involved!
